I found the most charming of womens maxi dresses at Ellos. I love how this long dress is so English, with its patterned cotton fabric, peasant style and olive green theme you’d think it was a parlor wallpaper– but in a good way. Think Jane Austen meets the ’70s. Brilliant, isn’t it?

Finding vintage-inspired women’s maxi dress is always a treat. A rustic and very feminine garment like this one is hard to come by when almost every other designer is doing asymmetrical silk-chiffon creations. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate modern maxi dresses as much as the next girl but it’s nice to go back to basics and wear a dress that looks like a dress.

Ellos tastefully styled the dress with a knitted vest and a pair of boots– a great look you can use every day in this fall season. In addition, gold or bronze jewelry will also work well with this outfit, including a vintage-inspired leather bag. But if you ask me, I like the dress sans the vest, and with Victorian-inspired, lace-up booties. I can already imagine myself meeting up for high tea in that outfit.
