Fall’s Biggest Trend: Grunge

Sunday, August 26, 2012 • by Karla Mae

Grunge seems to be the style of choice this fall– and we couldn’t be more thrilled. The ’90s was all about sticking it to the man, when femininity had the rough edge. We recall the rebellion, the witty film diatribes, and damn good music with dresses we rounded up from Shopbop. They got the loose plaids, the slouchy tee maxis, the non-descript tank dresses, even a sheer, all-black number that is sweet but teases. So get your Doc Martens out and reorient yourself with the relationship of pizza with Nietzsche. Grunge is so back in.
